Drivers License Renewals:
Drivers License renewals can be obtained in the Pike County Probate office or online. An individual seeking a drivers license for the first time, must take the drivers test downstairs in the Pike County Courthouse on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. It would be best to call ahead at 334.566.7031.
Those moving from out of state into Pike County should consult the State Driving Examiners as well, at 334.566.7031.

International Drivers License
International Driver’s license must be obtained through either the following locations:

The following information will be required to obtain an International Driver’s License:
2 Passport size photos
Valid U.S. Driver’s License
Fee is $115 for member of AAA or non-members of AAA
The license will be good 1 year from effective date and will be issued the same day.

Business Licenses
Requirements and fees for a business license are dependant upon the type of business. Please visit the Pike County Courthouse from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. or call 334.566.1246 for more information.
Marriage Certificates
ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE PROBATE OFFICE:
Marriage Certificates may be completed by following the appropriate links on the Alabama Department of Public Health website, and they are recorded in the Probate Office. The Pike County Probate Office does not perform marriage ceremonies and they are no longer required.
Hunting/Fishing Licenses

If you have lost your Hunters Identification Card you can go to Outdoor Alabama to get a replacement card. If you have lost a lifetime fishing or hunting license, you can come into our office and get a replacement for $5.00. If a lifetime license is mutilated, you can get a replacement for no charge. If you lose a license that was purchased in our office, we can give a replacement for $1.00.
Residency Requirements:
A CURRENT VALID ALABAMA DRIVERS LICENSE OR NON-DRIVER IDENTIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO PURCHASE HUNTING OR FISHING LICENSE, OR AT LEAST TWO OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Certificate of employment if containing proof of permanent residence.
- Copy of home property tax.
- Copy of previous year’s tax return (mailing address only).
- Health insurance forms with address; Medicare, etc.
- The last three months of a utility bill with mailing address.
- Student ID plus copy of residence agreement or any other proof of residence listed.
- Military personnel with an out-of-state drivers license must have copy of orders ofassignment to Alabama for a minimum of 30 days or have Alabama as home of record (HOR).
- Health insurance card with address.
- Telephone calling cards with address.
- Copy of school registration for non-driving students.
- Voter registration.
- Other legal documents that may establish residency after approval by the Conservation Department.
